My job experience is the work of a mechanical engineers team, drafters, toolmakers, numerical control machines workers and conventional machines workers. In addition I have to include the experience provided by clients, with whom we define five kind of products: automobile batteries, agricultural products, electrical products, lids for packing and other products not classified.

 

Among two four I have manage projects delegating tasks for manufacture, modification and maintenance of high production plastic injection molds. Using Microsoft Project I organize resources to work in a simultaneous way, optimizing processes and guaranteeing delivery dates. I have been managing the dimentional metrology and i have also extended my experience to the inyection yield area, selecting and implementing sprue pickers and part removal robots.

 

I got good skills in multidimensional shape interpretation, I have experience and dexterity in the CAD software SolidWorks and Powershape focused in product design and injection mold design, I dominate the pieces creation, assembling and drawing, all made as a parametric model.


Using SolidWorks and Powershape initially I design a three-dimensional model to appreciate the technical and aesthetic characteristics. Once the model is approved by client, I proceed with the product design, conceiving with this CAD its geometry in a parametric model.

 

Besides I design the mold in SolidWorks, creating a model according to the plastic piece. The mold is constructed from the piece and any modification carried out to this one, will reflect changes in the mold components, because relations are established in the construction of its geometry in a parametric model.

 

To create parametric models is an essential method to mold design, since a mold integrates different systems as: hot runners, refrigeration, ejection, clamping, etc. Systems carefully designed to obtain a quality plastic piece. At this way geometric interferences can be detected, modifications can be made in a simple way and also it facilitates the functionality communication to the team.
